“What a great museum. Full of so much history. The medals, the torches, the sports kit. Soooo cool”
Etoy
Etoy is a charming municipality in the canton of Vaud. It is picturesquely situated between Lausanne and Geneva to the north of Lake Geneva. The village has a beautiful old town with historic buildings such as a manor house with three-storey loggias near the church. You can also still find some characteristic farmhouses and winegrowers' houses from the 17th to 19th centuries in the town center. The castle of Etoy dates back to the 16th century and was later rebuilt. You can sample local specialties and the region's wine in cosy restaurants.

“It was a fabulous day starting with a boat trip up the lake to Vitznau, then stepping onto the train up to Rigi Kaltbad. The mineral baths were totally relaxing, from the bubble pools to the stunning outdoor views, plus the herbal steam room, mineral pool tranquility and sauna. A truly sensational day.”
“It was a really exciting and varied tour where you learned a lot about the prominent Winterthur families. I also loved some unexpected facts about trees.”
