Schilthornbahn

The Schilthorn cable car takes 32 minutes from Stechelberg via Mürren to the Schilthorn Piz Gloria. It climbs 2100 metres in altitude in several sections. The revolving restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the mountain peaks of the Jungfrau Region. Among them are the Eiger. Mönch and Jungfrau. Sights on the Schilthorn usually revolve around the James Bond film shot here.

We experienced very attentive, friendly, and approachable staff on the cable car and in the restaurant. We are extremely grateful for that and would be proud of Switzerland if this were the standard. The two days in Mürren with Schilthorn were more than worth the money in every way.

It was an amazing experience; the brunch was very good, with a great selection, everything fresh and tasty. A unique aspect is that you always have to look for the buffet because the tables rotate along with the restaurant.

Versatile and exquisite à Discretion offer. Amazing panoramic views all around. The only downside: three changes are required if you're starting from the very bottom. Quite tiring for those who aren’t great walkers.

Scanning in Mürren didn't work. Missed a train. An employee from the ticket counter had to come out, check the code on their phone, and open the door. This also happened after the return trip.

The brunch was absolutely amazing, it had everything you could wish for and we were warmly welcomed. The restaurant is fantastic and the view is stunning. We’d love to come back again.

Mobile tickets were disabled, so I still had to queue at the counter! Otherwise, everything was fine.

A great trip, but unfortunately the fog arrived too early, so we lost the view.
