Fine wine
About this place
The northernmost vineyard in Switzerland lies in idyllic Altdorf SH. The terraced site, created in the 1970s and covering over 430 ares, is planted with traditional grape varieties such as Riesling Sylvaner, Blauburgunder and Cabernet Dorsa. The site also has robust, fungus-resistant varieties such as Regent, Cabernet Jura, Leon Millot x Maréchal Foch and Muscaris. This wide variety of grapes provides the basis for a range of fine, popular wines. The Reiat is a beautiful, farming-shaped region with wonderful views of the volcanic landscape of the Hegau (D). The residents and guests in the Reiat enjoy the locally produced wines. White, rosé and red wines, especially carefully selected cuvées, are our strengths. The vineyard is cultivated and maintained according to ecological principles. In the green terraces you will find rare plants, insects and areas that support biodiversity. Our grapes are carefully pressed by GVS Weinkellerei in Schaffhausen and bottled.
