The history of money is above all the history of coinage – from the first struck coins in ancient Greece and Asia Minor to modern currencies. Each coin tells of power, trade and trust, and at the same time reflects the cultural and political orders of its time. Future of money. The 15-year history of Satoshi Nakamoto began in 2008 with the vision of an independent, digital money that no longer ties trust to states or banks, but to mathematics and technology.
