About this place
The village museum shows important and interesting things from Wimmis and the region. Using original objects, pictures and models, the history of the last 5000 years of Wimmis is documented vividly. It also presents, among other things, the period of the local cave dwellers, the production of ultra-modern explosives, the Réduit fortifications and the construction of the Niesenbahn in a clear way.
