On the steepest south-facing slopes in eastern Switzerland, the brothers Kaspar jun., Matthias, Florian and Adrian carry on the wine-growing tradition of their parents Kaspar and Susanne Wetli. The exceptional constellation of this wine-growing family is unique across Switzerland, if not worldwide. With plenty of momentum, new ideas meet traditional values and thus reinforce the winery’s commitment to quality. With around 18 hectares in three cantons, the brothers stand for honest, sustainable winegrowing. On the steep foothills of the Appenzell hill country, which extend into the Rhine Valley, tried-and-tested grape varieties as well as new ones find excellent conditions.
