Walensee

About this place

Here you’ll find Walensee, one of the larger lakes in Switzerland in eastern Switzerland. Around two-thirds lies in the canton of St. Gallen and about one-third in the canton of Glarus. The lake is also known as Lake Walen and Lake Walenstadt. At 419 m above sea level, it works well as a destination for an outing in the region.
