Refuge de l'Hôtel de l'Italie
About this place
Here you’ll find an unstaffed refuge in the canton of Vaud. The building was rebuilt in 1952 and serves as a simple shelter in nature. Inside, there are tables and benches, an upper floor with a sleeping room for around 20 people, and no water connection. On the ground floor, a neon light powered by solar panels provides light. According to the note, use is limited to one day; overnight stays are not allowed except in emergencies. The house belongs to the commune or the state and is also used by forestry workers.
