About this place

Historically associated with the former Churwalden monastery farm, today the Enderlin v. Montzwick house, diagonally opposite. Its volume typologically points to construction in the 17th century. A depression in the floor (inside) points to the former press, where white wine was mainly pressed and made into wine. The monks drank it for the evening prayer, Compline. Hence the name of the wine “Completer”. More info on the building: PDF Audio-Guide (MP3)
