About this place
The nativity diorama tells the Christmas story from the angels’ announcement to the flight of the Holy Family to Egypt. There is no multimedia, no touchscreens and no interactivity here. You step into a world from 2,000 years ago. The scene shows 450 figures across 80 square metres and against a 30-metre backdrop. The combination of a three-dimensional display and a painted background creates an illusion of space. The display places you right in ancient Judea, in the natural setting around Bethlehem.
