About this place

Castle hill without remains of walls. Castle mentioned in 1265, around 1300 owned by the Lords of Wädiswil, then by the von Turn family (Gestelenburg VS), acquired by Bern in 1352, then abandoned shortly afterwards. Excavations in 1927/28, 1941, 1991/92, 1995/96. (Source: Burgenverein.ch)
