Prestige Class
The Golden Pass Express runs between Interlaken and Montreux. The train features especially large panoramic windows in every class for a uniquely impressive view.
The new Golden Pass Express offers three travel classes. In addition to 1st and 2nd class, there is the Prestige travel class. It stands out with comfortable, adjustable seats. Now these seats can be heated and rotated in the direction of travel by the train staff.
Thanks to the large panoramic windows along the entire journey, the Prestige class offers an exceptional view and an unforgettable experience. Note that you need a valid ticket for this trip in addition to your seat reservation.
Useful information:
- We recommend booking your seat reservation first, then purchasing your train ticket.
- The Swiss Travel Pass, the GA, and all day tickets for public transport, including the saver day pass, are valid on this route. In that case, you only need the seat reservation to travel in the Prestige class.
- The trains do not have power outlets or Wi-Fi available.
- The Montreux–Zweisimmen railway offers a bar/wagon service selling drinks and snacks.

- In addition to this seat reservation, you'll need a valid ticket for the Golden Pass Express
- The Swiss Travel Pass, GA, all day tickets for public transport, the municipal day ticket, Interrail, and Eurail are valid on this route.
