Veysonnaz

Veysonnaz is a classic Valais mountain village perched above Sion, boasting impressive views over the Rhone Valley and the Bernese Alps. In summer, a variety of marked hiking trails run along historic irrigation channels and through forests, offering plenty of options for nature lovers. During winter, Veysonnaz is part of Switzerland's largest ski area—the 4 Vallées—and features over 400 groomed downhill skiing kilometres. The village combines modern tourist infrastructure with lively alpine traditions like the herding of Eringer cows, while still preserving its authentic charm and ample space for relaxation.

“Our guide was knowledgeable and made sure everyone was safe. The via ferrata was amazing and mentally challenging for our first time, and it felt great to finish.”
