Saxeten

Saxeten is located in the Bernese Oberland. It is a very small village with about 90 inhabitants. The Saxetbach flows through the village at 1103 m above sea level and flows into the Lütschine near Wilderswil. Saxeten is the starting point of various hikes to the Suls-Lobhornhütte, over the Regglipass to Aeschiried or via Wilderswil to the Schynige Platte. Canyoning is also popular here. In winter the place is the starting point for ice climbing and ski tours. You reach Wilderswil with the Bernese Oberland Railways from Interlaken Ost, where the post bus to Saxeten departs

“We really enjoyed the city tour. Even as "almost locals," we learned a lot of new things. Ms Kocher was very knowledgeable and took us on an exciting journey.”
