About this route
Von Schwellbrunn wandert man über die Hügellandschaft in die lauschige Wissbachschlucht mit Wasserfall, Staumauer und gedeckter Holztreppe. Von der historischen Kleinsiedlung Schwänberg, die älteste im Kanton, steigt der Weg steil hinauf zur Ruine Ramsenburg. Ziel ist das geschäftige Herisau.
