About this place

Kunstmuseum Basel is showing more than 80 works from the museum’s own collection, the Emanuel Hoffmann-Stiftung collection and the Kunstkredit Basel-Stadt across the whole house in selected constellations. The objects, paintings, photographs, videos, installations and performances were created mainly over the last 50 years and are now placed in an Open Relationship to one another. Some were made especially for the building on St. Alban-Rheinweg, others had their premiere there, have not been shown for a long time, or have never been exhibited at the Kunstmuseum before.
