Herrlich ist die Fahrt von der Hulftegg ins Toggenburg. Sie führt über voralpine Hügelzüge und durch schöne Kulturlandschaften. Imposant: das Eisenbahnviadukt in Dietfurt und die Aussicht auf das Alpsteinmassiv. Ein besonderes Erlebnis ist diese Etappe im Herbst, wenn das Nebelmeer die Täler füllt und der Säntis schon mit Schnee überzogen ist.
