Brugg is a small town in the canton of Aargau, located at the confluence of the Aare, Reuss, and Limmat rivers. This area is also called the "Water Castle of Switzerland." The town has a long history and was once an important trading hub. Today, Brugg offers a charming old town built at the narrow point of the Aare river. The Vindonissa Museum showcases finds from the Roman legion camp by the same name in Brugg. The town has good transport connections to Zurich and Basel.
