Verzasca
Verzasca is a municipality that includes almost the entire Verzasca Valley. It was formed by the merger of the following municipalities: Corippo, Vogorno, Brione, Frasco, Sonogno and a large part of Lavertezzo Valle. These villages were founded in the 13th century at the latest and some of them have very beautiful centers. In Lavertezzo you will find a pedestrian bridge over the Verzasca river, also known as the "Roman bridge". The Ponte dei Salti is curved in two arches and was built in the 17th century. Verzasca is the starting point for canyoning activities.
