Stammheim is located in the northern part of the canton of Zurich, right in the heart of the Zurich wine region. The two villages, Oberstammheim and Unterstammheim, are known for their well-preserved timber-framed houses, vineyards and open cultural landscapes. Around the villages, viticulture, orchards and gentle hills shape the scenery and invite you to go for walks and bike rides. In the historic centre, you’ll find stately farmhouses, narrow alleys and squares that reflect a long agricultural tradition.
