Meeting point: Vnà, Postbus stop "Jalmèr".

You will meet the guide and the rest of the group at 11:00 am at the bus stop "Jalmèr", from where the hike to Griosch starts.

Preparation: good shoes and weatherproof clothes.

The hike is rather easy, but good walking shoes are still important. Please dress appropriately for the weather. You will spend a few hours outside

You will experience: Hiking, wildlife watching and fondue fun.

The easy hike leads you from Vnà to Griosch. Enjoy the spectacular nature and the view over the Val Sinestra. The experienced hunter who accompanies you on the tour will help you to discover fascinating wild animals. For example, have you ever seen the Grisons heraldic animal in the wild? Besides the ibex, eagle, chamois and vulture, with a little luck you might also see other animals

You eat: a fondue.

The hike in the fresh air must have made you hungry. The tasty fondue in the Maiensäss in Pra San Peder tastes all the better afterwards

Return journey: Vnà.

After you have strengthened yourself, the hike from Griosch goes back to Vnà to the starting point. The tour ends at about 17:30.

Practical Information:

  • Hiking time there and back approx. 4h
  • Fondue party from approx. 13:30h

Swiss Activities Tip

A safari is also possible in the Grisons. The "Big Five" here are ibex, red deer, chamois, bearded vulture and marmot. As in Africa, it is worthwhile to have a good pair of binoculars with you. With them you can get even far away animals very close to you. And did you know that with a little patience you can even take a photo through the binoculars?
