Hergiswil

Hergiswil is situated on Lake Lucerne, at the foot of Mount Pilatus. The heavily forested eastern slope of the mountain is part of the municipality's territory. The Lake Side Festival, which lasts several days, is held annually in Hergiswil on the shores of Lake Lucerne. The village is also known for its glassworks, Glasi Hergiswil, founded in 1817. Handmade glass is still produced here. The museum in the Glasi is one of the most beautiful museums in Switzerland. In the village itself, the Sigristenhaus is worth seeing. It dates back to the 15th century and is one of the oldest wooden houses in Central Switzerland. The church of St. Nicholas, built in the middle of the 19th century, was designed in Byzantine style.

“Bungee jumping was a real highlight for us and an experience we won’t forget anytime soon. Huge thanks to Allan, Martin, and Rayno – you were amazing! From the very start, we felt well taken care of and safe with you. Everything was explained thoroughly and clearly, and the relaxed, easygoing atmosphere really helped to manage the nerves before the jump. 😊 The backdrop is simply spectacular, making the experience even more special. Even for spectators who don’t want to jump themselves, it’s definitely worth coming along – just the view and the atmosphere are impressive. A unique experience, a great team, and a fantastic location – highly recommended!”
