About Belalp
The Belalp is an alpine area at about 2100 m above sea level with extensive summer pastures and an idyllic mountain village. You can get a good insight into the work of the herders or observe wildlife like chamois, deer, and roe deer. The Belalp is a popular destination for nature lovers, hikers, and winter sports enthusiasts. From here, you can reach a 124 m long and 80 m high suspension bridge towards Riederalp. In winter, the Belalp ski area offers nearly 40 km of slopes and cozy mountain huts up to 3118 m above sea level. The car-free environment and traditional architecture give the Belalp a special charm.

- Hikes starting from Belalp take you all the way to the Aletsch Glacier area.
- You can reach the suspension bridge towards Riederalp after a good two hours of hiking.

- The 4-seat and 6-seat chairlifts take you from Belalp to Schönbiel and Hohbiel.

- The Färrich plate lift connects Aletschbord with Belalp in winter.
