Densbüren

Densbüren is located in the Fricktal north of the Staffelegg. The villages Asp and Densbüren belong to the municipality. They are gently embedded in nature in the middle of the southernmost Jura chain. Hiking and biking are popular activities around Densbüren in the Jurapark Aargau. Here you will also find the ruins of a medieval high castle. Also worth seeing is the gate saw, which dates back to the end of the 18th century and is operated by a water wheel. It is still in operation. The water comes from the Staffeleggbach.
