Belp is located at the entrance of the Gürbetal, 10 km from Bern in the direction of Lake Thun. Despite its proximity to Bern, Belp still represents a rural village. The Aare floodplain is a unique nature reserve. In addition, the regional airport Bern-Belp is located here. Belp Castle and the Reformed Church are two cultural assets of the village worth seeing
