On 4 January and 30 December 2026, railway history comes alive between Samedan and Zernez – ideal for families too. During the lunch stop in Zernez, for example, it is worth visiting the typical Engadine village or the Center da Sport, for ice skating or family swimming. If you prefer it more leisurely, reserve a seat in first class in the Belle Époque compartment – including an aperitif or coffee and sweet pastries from the Historic-Gastroteam.
