In autumn 2026, a very special meeting, cultural and parish trip to Czechia awaits you – in the footsteps of Jan Hus, a courageous forerunner of the Reformation. In Prague, we encounter his moving story at Charles University Prague, where he worked as a theologian and rector before losing his life in Konstanz for his convictions. But this trip offers far more than history: we discover impressive monasteries, picturesque landscapes and historic towns. In Prague, we immerse ourselves in the rich German-Jewish tradition and the living cultural heritage of the golden city. The eventful more recent history – from the Prague Spring to the fall of communism – will also accompany us. Encounters with local people make these days particularly authentic. We will be guided by the Czech theologian Richard Vlasak from Rumburk and Rev. Thomas Maurer, in proven cooperation with the travel agency Biblische Reisen in Stuttgart. The crowning finale is a stay at the legendary Grandhotel Pupp – where, in a stylish setting, we let the spirit of the famous spa tradition linger.
