From spring to autumn, hof-theater.ch turns the stable, barn or hayloft into an atmospheric theatre space and offers its audience entertaining, moving, thought-provoking and always unforgettable theatre evenings. The farm families on site take on the role of hosts. With plenty of heart, they create a cosy atmosphere and treat guests to food and drink from their own production. About the play: In truth, nurse Simona and teacher Maximilian only wanted one thing: to escape everyday life and explore Europe in a hired caravan. Bad luck for them, though: without knowing it, they booked the same caravan. Suddenly, two strangers are facing each other, both determined not to give in without a fight. So only one thing is left: pull together and set off together. What begins as an involuntary arrangement on four wheels becomes a chaotic road trip across Europe. From a botched stop at a motorway service area near Como to charming flirting lessons in France, all the way to the caravan nearly going up in flames in Austria. But the further the journey takes them, the closer Simona and Maximilian get. What began as a makeshift solution takes a turn neither of them expected – and suddenly it becomes clear that the true destination of their journey cannot be found on a map.
