Welcome to Isenthaler Chilbi 2026! Since 1991, Chilbi has included a cultural exhibition that brings back memories, enables encounters and makes a piece of village history visible. After the successful photo exhibition, the Isenthal cultural commission is dedicating this year’s exhibition to the ‘50-Jahr-Jubiläum der Theatergruppe Isenthal’. For half a century, it has enriched cultural life in the valley. With great passion, humour and commitment, countless theatre evenings have been created, dialect plays rehearsed, sets built and friendships across generations nurtured. The exhibition invites you to immerse yourself in this lively history: with pictures, videos, memories, stories and special moments from a century of theatrical passion. Hospitality and community are at the heart of Isenthaler Chilbi. Locals, former residents and guests from near and far meet for a sociable get-together. In the Gaststube Urirotstock, food, dancing and folk music create a festive atmosphere. The anniversary exhibition awaits you in the sports hall, while on the school square children’s stalls and the Platz-ständchen by Musikgesellschaft Isenthal bring the village to life. Culinary treats are served at Gasthaus Urirotstock with Chilbi specialities, or at the youth group’s Caféstübli. The municipal council and cultural commission are delighted to invite you warmly to the Chilbi and the exhibition opening on Chilbi Saturday, 17 October 2026, at 20:00, in the festively decorated sports hall.
