Adolf Dietrich House Berlingen
O tomto místě
In the Dietrich House in Berlingen, the artist Adolf Dietrich lived and worked from 1877 to 1957. His painting studio on the first floor has been preserved unchanged since his death. Here he painted more than a thousand pictures, securing himself a firm place in the art history of the 20th century. This special place gives you vivid insights into the artist’s personality. In the painting studio, the two gardens and a documentation room, you can discover the life and art of the painter like nowhere else. Every event as part of the summer programme 2026 ends with an apéro in Adolf Dietrich’s garden, with a view of the lake and the Höri. There is hardly a better opportunity, in relaxed conversation with other guests, to reflect on Adolf Dietrich’s way of seeing. Participation in the events and the apéro is free of charge. A voluntary contribution towards costs and/or membership of the Thurgauische Kunstgesellschaft helps to ensure the running of the Adolf Dietrich House.
