Over many years of joint duo performances, the two musicians have played their way into new spheres of interplay. They know each other so well that even the slightest musical nuance from the other is immediately taken up and carried along on the journey. And they always set off on that journey with ‘old acquaintances’: jazz numbers you think you ‘know’ suddenly turn into completely new sounds.
