The 12th edition of the charming festival in the centre of Bremgarten AG’s old town, lovingly called its ‘town festival’ by locals. Two stages, a varied mix of culture and food, with a concert programme right on the pulse of the times at its heart. A festival with strong local roots, a peaceful place that welcomes everyone with open arms. There are few places that offer a setting like the historic little town in the bend of the River Reuss. Marktgasse, the spacious main artery of this old town, proved ideal for a culture and music festival thanks to its location and layout. The first «Fäscht i de Marktgass» took place in 2010. Back then, it still ran on a small, intimate scale with a single concert stage as its centrepiece. In 2014, the event gained a second stage, and in 2018 a second day. That is how the «Fäscht» became a festival. In recent years, the «Festival i de Marktgass» has established itself as a very popular large event, known for its peaceful character and reach beyond the region, and as an institution in Bremgarten’s calendar.
