Wäbchäller von Helen Niederer
حول هذا المكان
In the Wäbchäller of the almost 300-year-old Oberdorf 9 house, right in the centre of Bühler, two handlooms have stood for 25 years. In the 18th and 19th centuries, weaving took place in this house, as it did in 236 other houses in Bühler. Today, the weaver’s shuttle flies back and forth again busily and it “chlepft” as it used to. Textiles such as towels, table linen and shopping bags are made with different patterns and colours from natural materials. In the cosy house with plenty of charm, you also have two double rooms, quiet spots in the garden and a lounge with TV at your disposal. The BnB is in the middle of the Appenzellerland and is a starting point for tours in the Alpstein or excursions to Lake Constance and the textile city of St. Gallen.
