Five stages, five Bern local mountains and a whole week of nature, motivation and community: the Bärner Bärgloufcup takes you from 3 to 7 August 2026 through the varied hilly landscape around Bern for the thirteenth time already. On each of the five evenings, runners set off at 19:00 to climb one of the regional classics – from Gurten via Bütschelegg, Belpberg and Bantiger up to Ulmizberg. The routes offer a mix of forest paths, open stretches and impressive views. The family-friendly atmosphere, the manageable setting and the shared daily start time create a motivating environment for ambitious athletes as well as recreational runners. Whether you enter individually or in the cup ranking across all five stages, every participation promises an intense nature experience and sporting moments of success. The joint closing event takes place on Friday evening after the final run in the Aula of Primarschule Schliern Blindenmoos – with the prize-giving, refreshments and time to meet and chat.
