Description

The city of Lucerne is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Switzerland. This is due to its charming old town and the beautiful Lake Lucerne - but also to the Swiss Museum of Transport. It is the most visited museum in Switzerland and popular with people from all ages. The day pass gives you the opportunity to visit all its attractions, exhibitions and tours. So in just one day you can learn more about our solar system and chocolate, watch interesting movies or do fun activities. The Museum of Transport has a very diverse offer, with something for all ages and tastes.

The state-of-the-art planetarium takes you on a journey to the farthest corners of our solar system and the universe. The show "Worlds Beyond Earth" is a trip to the planet Venus and other planets, moons and stars that you can admire on the large dome of the planetarium. "Expedition Coral Reef," on the other hand, shows you the wonders of our oceans from a whole new perspective. There is also a live show during which the staff will guide you to the places you want to see. "Aurora" shows you the "Mysterious Lights of the North" that will enchant and deeply touch you.

In the Swiss Chocolate Adventure theme world, you will learn everything about chocolate: from its origin and transport to the production of the final product. At the end of the tour, you will have the opportunity to taste some of Lindt's finest chocolate creations yourself with a Maître Chocolatier. The Swiss Museum of Transport's movie theater regularly screens new documentaries and broadcasts from the world's most famous opera houses and concert halls. Thanks to the big screen, you will have the feeling of being right there.

Finally, there is the museum itself, where you will learn everything about the history and future of mobility: from the first railroads to journeys to distant planets. Thus, the day pass of the Swiss Museum of Transport offers the unique opportunity to enjoy an incredibly diverse range of exhibitions and tours in just one day. An unforgettable experience for the whole family!
