Flumserberge snowshoe tour for beginners two days from Flums

Day 1: You meet your mountain guide at 10:30 a.m. in front of the Cresta restaurant at the Tannbodenalp mountain station in the Flumserberge. Here the welcome and the handover of the equipment will take place. From here you take the cable car to the Maschgenkamm at 1953 m and leave the skiing hustle and bustle behind you after a few steps. You hike along the Alp Fursch, with a view of the Spitzmeilen, past the Spitzmeilen hut at 2087 m above sea level. On the way, the guide will teach you tips and tricks on snowshoe technique. In addition, you will learn what the emergency equipment is and how to handle avalanche beacon, shovel and probe

Day 2: On the second day there are two magnificent snowshoe peaks to choose from. Either you hike to the Wissmeilen 2481 m above sea level or to the Erdisgulmen 2291 m above sea level. The tour guide will choose the appropriate summit depending on the conditions. With both destinations you can look forward to an unforgettable and eventful tour

The tour ends at about 15:30 in the Flumserberge.
