Day 1: You meet your mountain guide at 09:15 at the Mammut Store in Andermatt. Here the welcome and the handover of the equipment will take place. Afterwards you start directly. With the skins you will ascend and later you can enjoy a great descent. On the first day you will also receive an introduction to the use of emergency equipment

Day 2: On the second day the mountain guide will choose a destination for the day together with you and the group. Possible destinations are the Pazolastock 2740 m above sea level. , the Winterhorn 2662 m above sea level or the Tälligrat 2748 m above sea level. The distance is between five and seven kilometers. The walking time is between two and four hours. The ascent is about 700 meters in altitude

The tour ends at approximately 16:00 at the Mammut Store Andermatt

Especially as a beginner you should always pay attention to your walking technique. The wrong walking technique can rob you of fitness, which you can use for further ascents. It is important that you do not lift the skis, this costs a lot of energy in the long run, because you have to move the skis both upwards and forwards. It's best to always pull the rear ski loosely and make sure that you always stay in contact with the snow.

• Prerequisite technique: easy, safe driving, moderately steep and open terrain
• Prerequisite condition: easy, walking times from two to four hours, about 250 meters of altitude per hour
