Männlichen is known for its excellent, gentle slopes and therefore offers the perfect learning area. Together with an experienced ski instructor and the other participants, your child will learn many new techniques during 3 hours per day. At the end of the three-hour lesson, you will be amazed at the progress and enjoy the beautiful region around Grindelwald with your child.

Your child can expect a ski group course with a professional instructor on the great slopes of Männlichen near Grindelwald!

Meeting point: 9:45 am Männlichen mountain station.

From the valley station in Grindelwald you and your child can take the gondola or the cable car to the top station of Männlichen and meet the ski instructor and the rest of the group there.

Your child will learn: Skiing

Over the next three hours, your child will be taught many new techniques by the ski instructor and your child will be able to refine and perfect the techniques they have already mastered.

End of course: Männlichen mountain station.

At 13:00 the course ends again at the Männlichen mountain station. Your child can - if it still has energy - of course continue practicing independently.

• Minimum number of participants: three children

When your child arrives exhausted at the mountain station after the ski course, you can fortify yourself in one of the many inns that offer traditional Swiss specialties. Otherwise, you can also take a stroll through Grindelwald. The small mountain town is a paradise for all winter sports enthusiasts and well worth a visit!

• The season lasts from December to April, depending on conditions.

• First change of direction from the fall line

Blue Prince/Princess:

• Suitable for children from 5 to approx. 12 years old

• Climbing with stair and shear step
• Gliding and braking in plow
• Skiing in parallel ski position with changing and tricks
• Plow turning

Blue King/Queen:

• Suitable for children from 5 to approx. 12 years of age
• Info about the safe use of transport equipment
• Sloping and tricks
• Side slides
• Parallel riding on simple waves and jumps
• Plow swinging on simple blue slope

Blue Star:

• Suitable for children from 5 to approx. 12 years old
• Info on how to behave on slopes (FIS rules)
• Swinging in mini - pole forest and parcours
• Wave and trough skiing
• Switch skiing in V-position with change of direction
• Plough swinging on varied blue slope

Red Prince/Princess:

• Suitable for children from 5 to approx. 12 years old
• Info about warming up (warm-up)
• Braking parallel
• Bow treading on easy slope
• waltz
• Parallel swing (slid)

Red King/Queen:

• Suitable for children from 5 to approx. 12 years old
• Info on how to behave in the snowpark
• Short swinging on easy slope
• Skate step on the flat
• Basic Air (small kicker)
• Parallel swinging with different radii

Red Star:

• Suitable for children from 5 to approx. 12 years old
• Info about nature, forest and landscape
• Parallel swing in the pole couloir and parcours
• Parallel swing "Switch" (slid)
• Single leg swing on easy slope
• Short swing on medium difficult slope
