Ski course for children in Grindelwald weekend

To attend a ski lesson over the weekend becomes possible in Grindelwald with this course. Skiing enthusiastic children get their money's worth in the beautiful Jungfrau region. In this course for beginners and advanced skiers can expand their knowledge on the slopes. Depending on the level of the child, the lessons take place in the BodmiARENA or on the First.

Your child can expect a ski group course with a professional instructor on the great slopes in the beautiful winter panorama of Grindelwald!

Meeting point: BodmiARENA or Grindelwald First.

Children in the Blue League meet their group at 09:30 at the BodmiARENA, while children in the Red League meet their group at either 09:00 at the Grindelwald Firstbahn valley station.

Your child learns: Skiing

During the next 3 hours your child will learn skiing in the group from experienced ski instructors. The ski instructors will teach your child the right techniques so that he or she will soon be able to ski more difficult slopes on their own.

End of the course: 13:00 h BodmiARENA or Schreckfeld.

For children of the Blue League the course ends in the BodmiARENA, while children of the Red League end the course at 13:00 in the Schreckfeld

Practical Information:

• Equipment can be rented on site
• Minimum number of participants: three children

• The season lasts from December to April, depending on conditions.

• Info on how to behave on slopes (FIS rules)
• Swinging in mini - pole forest and parcours
• Wave and trough skiing
• Switch skiing in V-position with change of direction
• Plough swinging on varied blue slope

Red Prince/Princess:

• Suitable for children from 5 to approx. 12 years old
• Info about warming up (warm-up)
• Braking parallel
• Bow treading on easy slope

• Suitable for children from 5 to approx. 12 years old
• Info on how to behave in the snowpark
