Description

Many go skiing or sledding during the winter vacations. Others prefer to take off! And really so

Who hasn't wanted to circle in the air like a bird? Flying over snow-covered mountain peaks, the view from above over St. Moritz and the Engadine lake plateau is unforgettable. A paragliding flight over this world-famous Swiss winter sports region offers you a unique change of perspective, the experience of absolute freedom, peace and a sniff of fresh winter alpine air

Plan your winter vacations in Engadin or St. Moritz and combine your ski trip with an unforgettable paragliding flight. The team of Paragliding Engadin will accompany you on a 30-minute flight. You as a passenger decide where you want to go and may take over the steering wheel for a while!

Every day from the first of December until April you can book a paragliding flight at Paragliding Engadin. Book your flight by phone or by mail 2 days in advance Your pilot will then discuss with you in advance the meeting point as well as the take-off and landing area and will pick you up on the booked date. Afterwards you will walk with your pilot for 10 to 15 minutes to the launch site. When you arrive at the launch site, your pilot will lay out and check your paraglider. He will then give you a short introduction, put on your equipment and check it again before take-off. As the flights are weather dependent, it can happen that the take-off and the later landing will be delayed. In case of strong wind and snow or rain there will be no flights. After the harnesses are tightened, you take off with your pilot after a few quick steps! You stay there for 10 - 30 minutes, the world under your feet. If you want, you can even take the controls for a while and experience the feeling of flying even more intensively After 10 - 30 minutes of flying, your pilot will head for the landing. Sometimes, due to wind conditions, an alternative landing site must be approached The landing is no big deal after that! As soon as there is ground contact, it only takes a few steps until the glider is also on the ground. After landing, the paragliding equipment is packed and hiked back to the starting point

During the flight your pilot takes photos and videos, which you can get for 20 CHF You will receive the files on a USB stick, via wetransfer or as a collection to download directly to your phone! Your next Instagram post is also ready!

This activity seems a bit too daring for you? Don't worry! The polites of Paragliding Engadin are passionate paragliders with a lot of experience and sense of responsibility. During the flight, feel free to share your concerns or your state of mind. The pilots will be happy to listen to your concerns and to create an experience according to your wishes. Accidents are very rare and are covered by the ordinary accident insurance.
