A comfortable coach will take you from Zurich to Lucerne. Already on this trip you can enjoy the wonderful landscape of Switzerland on the shores of Lake Lucerne to the fullest. In the charming city of Lucerne the first historical highlights are already waiting for you. After a short photo stop, a short orientation tour will show you where to find the world famous Chapel Bridge, the oldest wooden bridge in Europe, with its water tower, the Gothic Jesuit Church or the Culture and Convention Center (KKL). The Old Town of Lucerne offers truly unique architecture, winding streets and a simply attractive atmosphere. It is not for nothing that it is often called the most beautiful city in Switzerland. You can admire it during your free time here and let yourself fall under its unique spell.
Finally, you will continue by bus to the alpine town of Engelberg, which is located in the canton of Obwalden In Engelberg you change directly into one of the 8-seater gondolas of the Titlis Xpress cable car to make the ascent towards Titlis in free height. From here you can already marvel at the beautiful mountains that tower up around you. Photos are a must! When you arrive at the middle station Trübsee, an employee of the Titlis snow park is already waiting for you. He will accompany you to the sports park and help you to get the necessary equipment. Here your active winter adventure begins: on the beginner's slope you can try skiing for the first time or whiz down the snow mountain in one of the specially designed rubber tires, the so-called snowtubes. The conveyor belt installed next to the slope makes it possible for you to return to the starting point of the slope in no time after the descent.
After this snow fun, a real jewel of activities awaits you on the Titlis: You will once again take the Titlis Xpress gondola one stop further up into the heights of the mountains to the "Stand" station. From the station, located at 2428 m.a.s.l., a truly special mountain railroad winds its way up to the Titlis: the so-called Rotair revolving cableway. It is the world's first cable car that rotates continuously during the ascent. During the five-minute ride, each gondola manages to rotate an incredible 360°, which not only guarantees a first-class experience, but also provides an unforgettable panoramic view from all sides. From here, steep rock faces, huge crevasses and the many mountain peaks of the surrounding Alpine massif can be seen in the distance. As soon as you reach the summit of "Klein Titlis", you can enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the Alps at an altitude of over 3000 meters. From the Panorama restaurant and its sun terrace, you can let yourself be swept away by it. A sight you will not soon forget!
Later in the afternoon, you will make your way back down to Engelberg and from there take the bus back to Zurich. An eventful day in the Swiss winter draws to a close here.
