Boat trip on Lake Geneva from Montreux
View of Chillon Castle and "Dents du Midi
Discover Montreux and lake region
View of the Vaudois and High Savoy Alps
This two-hour cruise on Lake Geneva will take you past beautiful scenery and the world-famous Chillon Castle.
You start in Montreux, the host of the world famous Montreux Jazz Festival. While waiting for the ship to dock, you can stroll along the lake promenade and even find a small attraction not far from the docking station: the memorial statue of rock legend Freddie Mercury.
After boarding the ship, you can make yourself comfortable on board. The first viewing station already promises something very special: on the shore of Lake Geneva, the imposing Chillon moated castle appears, in the background the valley adorned with vineyards with a view of the "Dents du Midi" mountain range.
You have here the possibility to get off and have a closer look at the more than thousand years old castle. In this case, two hours later you can take the next boat to continue your trip.
The journey continues along the nature reserve "Les Grangettes" at the mouth of the Rhone. Then you head for the opposite side of the lake and sail past the charming seaside resort of "Le Bouveret" to "St. Gingolph" before returning to Montreux.
This cruise is perfect for you, your family and friends as a relaxing, culturally rich and informative excursion.
