On the water you can admire the idyllic and snow-covered landscape of the Emmental and Bernese Alps. Near Riggenberg stands the famous 13th century mountain ruins, where many a guide takes a short break to enjoy warm tea and delicious cookies. On the way across Lake Brienz, pedestrians wave to you from footpaths, viewpoints like Wychel or campsites on the lakeshore Near Brienz you will catch a glimpse of the Brienz Woodcarving Museum. This museum preserves carvings so that this craft is not forgotten On the lake there is not only you but also the "Schnäggeinseli", so called because it looks like a big snail crawling around on the lake. This island belongs to the castle Seeburg, which you also get to see. In this castle many weddings are celebrated, maybe you can congratulate a bride and groom while paddling by.
