Paddling a kayak on Lake Geneva is always an impressive experience. On this tour, you'll be traveling with Anne. She grew up in Valais and can tell you everything about this region. The whole tour takes about 4 hours, 3 of which you spend on the water.

Meeting point: Old Rhone port Bouveret.
You will meet your guide at the Old Rhone Port.
Preparation: Instruction.
You will be equipped for the upcoming tour and instructed by your guide. After the safety briefings and an introduction to the handling of the kayak, you are ready to go
You will experience: a kayak tour.
After the introduction, the kayak tour starts at the Old Port on the Rhone. It leads on the canal directly past the bird reserve "Les Grangettes", where more than 260 bird species can be observed. It is considered one of the most important protected areas internationally. The tour then continues past the island of Peilz and the towering plantain tree there, which is a whopping 169 years old.
You see: the Chateau Chillon.
Finally, you reach one of the most famous highlights of the tour: the stunning Chillon moated castle. The "Jewel of Lake Geneva" has been enthroned on the rocky island in front of the beautiful mountain scenery for more than 1000 years and is considered a visitor magnet of Western Switzerland.
Return: Old port.
On the way back to the Old Port, the path now leads along the Valais shore, past "Le Bouveret". The beach is considered a popular vacation destination on Lake Geneva because of the many water and amusement parks located there. While paddling along the shore, you can review the impressions so far or simply let your soul "ripple" to the rhythm of the paddle until the French border is in sight. Not far from there is the historic village of "St. Gingolph".
