Experience the shores of two cantons: Vaud and Valais

The imposing Chillon Castle

The historic Old Port on the Rhone

The 169 year old plantain tree on the island Peilz

Bird Reserve "Les Grangettes

Historic village "St. Gingolph" on the French border

After a common introduction to the handling of the kayak and safety instructions, the kayak tour starts at the Old Port on the Rhone. It leads on the canal directly past the bird reserve "Les Grangettes", where more than 260 bird species can be observed. It is considered one of the most important protected areas internationally.

Together with the group, the tour continues past the island of Peilz and the towering plantain tree there, which is an incredible 169 years old!

Finally, you will reach one of the most famous highlights of the tour: the stunning Chillon Castle. The "Jewel of Lake Geneva" has been enthroned on the rocky island in front of the beautiful mountain scenery for over 1000 years and is considered a visitor magnet of Western Switzerland.

On the way back to the Old Port, the path now leads along the Valais shore, past "Le Bouveret". The beach is considered a popular vacation destination on Lake Geneva due to the many water and amusement parks located there. While paddling along the shore, you can review the previous impressions or simply let your soul "ripple" to the rhythm of the paddle until the French border is in sight. Not far from there is the historic village of "St. Gingolph".
