Activities on the Jungfraujoch

Description

Start your journey to the Jungfraujoch in Interlaken Ost. You have the choice between two routes - either via Lauterbrunnen or via Grindelwald. In both cases you change to the Jungfrau Railway at Kleine Scheidegg. On the return trip, you can either choose the same route or take the other way back.

**You can expect a 90-minute ride from Interlaken Ost to the world-famous Jungfraujoch via Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald!

Route mountain railway

Bottom station: Interlaken Ost

Intermediate station: Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald Terminal or Grindelwald Bahnhof and Eismeer

Mountain station: Jungfraujoch

  • A seat reservation is strongly recommended
  • Paid parking available in Interlaken
  • Due to bad weather, train cancellations may occur

Swiss Activities Tip

A 45-minute hike takes you from the Jungfraujoch over the glacier to the Mönchsjochhütte, which is located at 3657 meters above sea level. The path is well signposted and prepared. This easy hike is also suitable for children
