When you think of Switzerland, the first thing that comes to mind are probably the snow-covered mountains and the mighty glaciers. The uniquely beautiful mountains of Switzerland attract tourists and mountaineers from all over the world. This day trip offers you the opportunity to experience one of the most famous mountain resorts in Switzerland up close: the world famous Jungfraujoch
In Zurich you will board a modern bus early in the morning (at 08:00), which will take you comfortably to Interlaken. The tour guide, who is also on board, will provide you with exciting information about the passing landscapes and places on the way. After a short stay in the idyllic Interlaken, the tour continues to Grindelwald. Here the trip with the rack railroad starts. The Jungfrau Railway has been connecting the villages in the valley with the Jungfraujoch for more than a hundred years. At an altitude of over 3,500 meters, this is the highest train station in Europe. It is therefore also called Top of Europe.
Even the ride there is an unforgettable experience. Passing meadows and waterfalls, you bridge a difference in altitude of 1,400 meters. But once you've reached the top, you won't be able to stop marveling
Because from the Jungfraujoch, a dreamlike view of the famous triumvirate Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau reveals itself to you. These three peaks are among the most famous in Switzerland, indeed in the world! The Alpine Sensation adventure tour, and more precisely the Sphinx viewing platform, will give you a view that reaches as far as neighboring countries. You will also be amazed by the Aletsch Glacier, which is the longest glacier in Europe. In the Ice Palace you will then get to know the inside of a glacier. Here, with the help of numerous ice sculptures, artists have created an ice world as if made of crystal, which will fascinate you deeply.
In the late afternoon you will take the bus back to Zurich. There will be a short stop in Lauterbrunnen, another very famous place. When you are back in Zurich, the world of ice and snow will seem like a fairy tale, like a dream - and will remain in your memory for a long time!
