The dreamy and picturesque Muotathal is home to one of the largest caves in the world: the Hölloch. 200 kilometers of the cave system have already been explored and the first 700 meters of the cave were already comfortably developed with stairs and paths 100 years ago
The mysterious and mystical world under the earth can be discovered on one of the guided tours. The short tours are open to the public and are conducted in groups of maximum 30 participants. You will learn all kinds of exciting things about the history, formation and life of the cave.
**You can expect a 2-hour guided tour in the cave of the Hölloch!!!
Meeting place: Hölloch Wärterhaus
In front of the guard house you will meet your guide and the other participants.
Preparation: equipment and introduction
You will be equipped with everything you need for the short tour in the cave. Put on your helmet and headlamp and let's go!
Activity: Short cave tour
On this tour you will discover the beautiful interior of the cave. Let yourself be enchanted by the stalactites and rock formations as well as the mystical darkness visually and by the acoustics of the cave passages auditorily. Your group guide will always tell you exciting facts about the cave and will be happy to answer your questions.
Conclusion: Cave concert
A wonderful highlight awaits you at the end! A short concert in the middle of the event location in the cave will give you goosebumps. Enjoy the atmosphere before you make your way back to the surface
