Description

This day ticket allows you free travel in the entire Aletsch Arena. You can book the discovery pass for one or more days.

The family-friendly Aletsch Arena is located in the Valais in close proximity to the famous Aletsch Glacier. With 20km it is the longest glacier in the Alps and reaches from Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau to the Valais

The three car-free alps Bettmeralp, Riederalp and Fiescheralp offer you an idyllic time out and wonderful views into the valley.

You can expect a day that you can organize flexibly and you can discover the four viewpoints according to your mood!!

The viewpoints:

  • Eggishorn: the highest of the viewpoints at 2869 m.a.s.l. Reach it from Fiesch via Fiescheralp
  • Bettmerhorn: at an altitude of 2647 m.a.s.l., this viewpoint offers a comfortable opportunity to admire the glacier in the Panorama Restaurant. This viewpoint is barrier-free and ideal for strollers and wheelchairs.
  • Hohfluh: at an altitude of 2227 m.a.s.l. with a view of the impressive curves of the glacier.
  • Moosfluh: at an altitude of 2333 m.a.s.l. you can enjoy a view of the Aletsch glacier.

  • From Fiesch to Fiescheralp and to Eggishorn
  • From Betten to Bettmeralp and up to Bettmerhorn
  • From Mörel to Riederalp (incl. ride to the viewpoints Hohfluh and Moosfluh)

Additional facilities:

  • Chairlift Wurzenbord: from Bettmeralp you can take a ride on the chairlift to Wurzenbord
  • Chairlift Riederalp West - Hohfluh
  • Chairlift Riederalp middle - Moosfluh

Aletsch-Goms a dream for suspension bridge lovers. You'll find a total of 5 suspension bridges here for a hiking highlight with a little thrill. The bridges:

  • Suspension bridge Aspi-Titter - open until October
  • Small suspension bridge Bodmer Bridge - open until October

The Aletsch Arena is a nature reserve and UNESCO World Heritage Site. At the information center "Pro Natura" in Brig you can find out everything about the organization and book e.g. exhibitions, courses and excursions.
