About Weihnachtsmarkt im Burghof Zug
For the first time, the castle courtyard of the Museum Burg Zug becomes a Christmas market: more than a dozen stalls with local and handmade products, plus mulled wine, Advent music, St Nicholas and, on Sunday, barrel-organ music. The museum is open on both days at reduced admission.
What to expect
- First held in 2026, with the motto «Klein, aber fein» (small but perfectly formed) and over a dozen stalls
- Advent music (Sat 15:00–17:00), St Nicholas (Sat 12:30–15:00, Sun 13:00–16:00), barrel organ (Sun 12:00–17:00)
- Museum open 10:00–17:00 on each market day at reduced admission (CHF 5)
